On Monday, November 3rd the UW staff had the pleasure of joining Constellation's Rising Star and Stargivers at a luncheon in their honor. Keith Polson, Site Vice President, recognized the generosity of the group and asked that they advocate for giving to the community to their fellow employees.
Dan Varga, Site Chair, introduced UW Executive Director Melanie Trexler. Melanie thanked everyone at Constellation for their support and especially the site coordinators that do such a fantastic job of facilitating the campaign. Constellation has increased participation from one year ago. They are the leaders of giving to the UW Campaign and the community.
Maria Hudson, Constellation Communications Consultant and UW Campaign Chair helped plan a delicious lunch at the cafeteria. About 65 of the 120 leadership givers attended the lunch.
UW provided a certificate of appreciation in recognition of exceptional giving.
We thank Constellation for the opportunity to meet with them in their workplace. "People give to people", Maria said at Kickoff on September 1oth.
It's great to meet the people who give.
